Upside is a Canadian line of ready-to-wear and made-to-order apparel that is optimized for urban cyclists.
With more people choosing to cycle in cities given its economic, environmental, and health benefits but a lack of cycle-friendly fashion, Upside was conceived with the urban casual bicycle commuter in mind. The first collection was launched to great response in 2014 and the first store opened in the heart of Toronto's Annex neighbourhood on Harbord St.
Today at its store location in Toronto's Kensington Market, Upside sells womenswear, menswear, cycling caps, and accessories for the urban cyclist that it designs and manufactures in its nearby workshop. Upside also stocks cycling helmets and distinctive products that complement the collections. Upside collections showcase traditional and playful designs, reflecting the diversity of city cyclists. Upside clothing uses quality fabrics that are practical, breathable, and comfortable. Designs incorporate features such as water- and wind-resistant materials for practicality, ventilation for breathability, and stretchy materials for comfort.
These important features and subtle differences make Upside apparel unique and distinctive, setting the Company apart from conventional fashion labels and traditional cycling sportswear.
Upside is stylish, technical, and practical fashion for cycling in the city.
